Come A’Look A’See
Sing with a calypso rhythm.
Come a’look a’see,
Here’s my mama.
Point to thumb.
Come a’look a’see,
Here’s my papa.
Point to index finger
Come a’look a’see,
My brother tall
Point to tall finger
Sister, baby,
Point to ring then baby fingers.
Kiss all fingers at once (smack)
I love them all!
Grandma's Glasses
Recite this first verse of this chant in a high-pitched voice:
These are Grandma's glasses.
Make "glasses" over eyes with fingers.
This is Grandma's hat.
Place hands close together over head.
And this is the way she folds her hands
Clasp hands together.
And lays them in her lap.
Place hands in lap.
Recite this second verse in a deep, low voice:
These are Grandpa's glasses.
Make "glasses" over eyes with fingers.
This is Grandpa's hat.
Place hands farther apart over head.
And this is the way he folds his arms
Cross arms.
And takes a little nap.
Place head on arms, as if sleeping.
Some Families
Some families are big,
Some families are small.
Some families are short,
Some families are tall.
Some families live close,
Some live far away.
But they all love each other,
In their own special way.
Some families are happy,
Some families are sad.
But they still love each other,
Even when they are mad.
Some families you are born to,
Some families you are not.
But however you joined,
You are love a whole lot!

Waa! Waa! Waa!
Sing to the Tune “Miss Lucy Had a Baby”
I love my baby sister; she eats and sleeps all day.
But when she isn’t happy, this is what she’ll say!
Waa! Waa! Waa!
I love my baby sister; she scoots and crawls all day.
But when she isn’t happy, this is what she’ll say!
Waa! Waa! Waa!
I love my baby sister; she laughs and plays all day.
But when she isn’t happy, this is what she’ll say!
Waa! Waa! Waa!
I love my baby sister; she walks and talks all day.
But when she isn’t happy, this is what she’ll say!
I’M GONNA TELL!
