Our new calendar system, called Evanced brings an exciting new month-at-a-glance view of the library's events and easy online registration. For the first time, library customers can search for events at the branch of their choice, and create custom calendars for storytimes, book discussion groups, author visits and more. You can even find all the events for a certain age group. It's easy to print out a calendar of your choice for the wall or the fridge, or you can "go green" and pull the calendar up on your computer at any time 24/7.

There are even more advanced features to enjoy. Customers can request an email reminder for an upcoming event. You can choose to be notified of other events "like this" that you might enjoy, and even download the event directly into your own calendar software. You can email a friend to share news of the event, or add the event to your Digg or Delicio.us feeds. You can subscribe to our calendar by RSS feed, either the whole systemwide calendar, or just your branch calendar. We're excited to be making this system better for you!
